Downloads on Layaway

Like searching for a flight, from one central place, you should be able to search for a song or item on Limewire, Napster and rlslog. Then click on what you want and add it to your "cart."

Moreover, it won't dload right away. Dloading slows your comp but it's annoying to keep a separate list and search later, when you're at your comp.

You should be able to text a number to begin downloading what is in your queue from a remote location, or at least form a queue without opening the client/searching.

Blogger Plug In

Why can't I blog from my browser?

I don't want to tweet; I want to select a blog and be able to type an update to it from a mini window. Give me a title and body field and I'll be happy.

Thanks,
Jason

GMail Follow Ups

Might have already posted this but..

But we need follow ups to our emails. I hear outlook allows you to set a follow up when you send an email.

Why doesn't gmail?

I have to do it manually through GCal right now. It should be seamless. Make it happen captain.

Add a Limited Friend

So when someone asks to be my friend on Facebook, I can add them to my limited profile. An aunt, uncle, teacher, ex-lover. It's great.

But when I want to add someone else, where is that same option? There might be a 'recommended friend' or someone esteemed person with whom I'd love to connect, but I just don't want them to have access to my profile.

Zuckberg, where are you?

Split My Home Page!

a homepage that splits up to 3 webpages you'd like to always read when you wake up- can also be a to do list or document you want to read - whatver

Imagine whenever you launch your browser say, for the first time in more than an hour than any internet activity (so each new window doesn't look like this), that you got to see your gmail, your 2 do list and pandora launched for your music. Then as you check your gmail, your other items are there also for you to see and check.

Home pages right now are just that...PAGE(S). One thing. Not good enough.

Tabs don't let you see multiple things at once. In one browser window.

I don't have a 50in monitor, so...

Is this idea clear?

gmail - event creator update

So one new thing I see in Gmail is the chance to add a task or create an event based on an email being more integrated and now available through the options drop down menu on each email.

However, this is only good for inbox emails. When I SEND an email, I should have the chance to add a follow up (or create an event) that gets created when I hit send. Would be super useful and make it so i don't need to either wait for a reply (defeats the purpose) or go back to sent mail after sending it and creating an event. To be honest though there should just be a 'follow ups' box so you can archive all old mail. This box should be displayed like 'tasks' and 'calendar'

Search drop down in gmail

So you know how Facebook has the search bar set up to suggest people you might be searching for when you begin typing in its search bar?

GMail should do that for your inbox to easily retrieve certain emails.
